The name Kim Kardashian usually elicits one of two responses when brought up in casual conversation. Either an immediate spark in the eyes and a launch into a discussion of her latest Skims line of what she’s been seen wearing at some celebrity event, or a glazing over of the eyes and an immediate change in conversation. Personally, we love good gossip about Kim K, her fabulous life, fabulous family, and extra super fabulous wardrobe. Kim is the celebrity gift that keeps on giving. Since she first stepped into the public eye as Paris Hilton’s assistant, Kim has continued offering up her life and looks to celebrity culture as fodder to keep those wheels churning. Her tastes have certainly changed a lot since KUWTK first aired. Kim is not on the cutting edge of fashion, often so avant-garde that the general public doesn’t quite understand it. Her designer jewelry is always perfectly curated and calibrated to show off her outfits and gorgeous bod to their maximum potential. If that doesn’t do the job on its own, she has an apartment-sized closet to reach into for bags, sunglasses, belts, and shoes as well.

Accessories are often the unsung heroes of fashion, but not Kim’s. She and her stylists deploy her accessories with the speed and accuracy of a general sending troops off to war. Though faux fur doesn’t immediately jump to mind when we think “sunglasses,” there’s no question that Kim K pulled this unusual face muffler trend off without a hitch. Only fashionistas as over-the-top and fearless about their looks as Kim could walk around with women’s designer sunglasses that are a literal face full of fur (by Balenciaga for a cool $1150), but being up to your eyeballs in Balenciaga can never really be a bad thing, can it? She finished this particular look with the Hourglass XS Faux Shearling handbag and 3D-printed earrings, both by Balenciaga.

Nothing says luxury like a neck absolutely dripping in Tiffany! This solid gold snakey piece of jewelry has adorned Kim K’s neck on more than one occasion, most notably in her super sultry black and white ID photo shoot and the launch of the Tiffany Lock collection. This unobtrusive little piece comes in at $45,000…clearly, Kim believes in investing in herself!

Kim is a Balenciaga girl through and through. One of her most famous “Barbie-core” outfits (there are many) consisted of a head-to-toe look by the Italian house, featuring a stunning pink gown and the teeny tiniest little faux crocodile bag that you ever did see. Speaking of Kanye! While he might not be in the reality star’s life anymore, he’s still the father of their children and clearly still keeping an open piping of YEEZY fashion into the Kardashian household. Kim recently snapped an adorable photo of herself and her daughter North wearing enormous, 90s/2000s-Esque mirrored alien sunglasses and tagged Ye in the post.

If an outfit could say “Winter is coming,” it would be these extreme boots. Kim K does nothing in half measures, and these Balenciaga boots are no exception to that rule. Her teeny tiny white ensemble made these black leather boots stand out as the show’s star. They’re sexy, they’re practical, they’re Balenciaga, darling. What more do you need to know?

Kim at the Dolce and Gabbana Spring 2023 runway show was truly a sight to behold. Her dazzling black and white diamond cross and necklace were what she personally chose to go with what she wore. The designers invited her to select her jewels to pair them with the Ciao Kim collection-re-imagined Dolce pieces from throughout the years.

Kim knows where her bread is buttered, and that’s Balenciaga. After her Balenciaga crime scene tape head-to-toe look, are we really surprised that one of her best accessories of the year was the hourglass bag complete with said crime scene tape plastered all over it? Of course not! This bag was a huge hit with Kim K and the Balenciaga fans, who stormed the site to have one of their own.

Kim is the queen of accessories; there’s no doubt about it. From subtle to so completely over the top that they can be seen from space, she’s done it all. She continues to be a huge factor in the fashion world, and we can’t wait to see what she wears next.
